Rules and details:

Nominate as many individuals and local businesses as you like. Nominees must reside or be headquartered in the Washington, DC area. Award winners are not eligible for two years after winning award. Deadline to nominate is July 16, 2008. Winners receive $3,000 for the charity of their choice; winners will be announced on WTOP and NiceGuysAwards.com on October 3, 2008. Nominations will be judged by a panel of representatives from Acacia Federal, community organizations, and local businesses. Nominations can be made online, faxed to 703-506-8162, or mailed to: Nice Guys Awards, Acacia Federal Savings Bank, 7600 Leesburg Pike, East Building, Suite 200, Falls Church, VA 22043. Mailed entries must be postmarked by July 16, 2008.

Employees of Acacia Federal, their affiliated companies, parents, subsidiaries, service partners and advertising and promotion agencies and their IRS dependents, immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse and members of their households, whether related or not), are ineligible to nominate or be nominated for the Nice Guys awards.
